I have a folder on my phone that I don't show anyone.
It's not organized.
It's not planned.
It has no filter.
But it's probably the one I like the most.
They're not the perfect photos.
They're not of the immaculate dress or the perfect moment.
They are different.
A half-smile.
A glance you didn't know someone was capturing.
A strange gesture that, unintentionally, says more than any pose.
They are those photos you don't upload.
Because they don't fit.
Because they are not "pretty" in the classic sense.
Because they are not meant to please.
But there's something else.
There's always someone who takes them.
That person who is never in the picture.
Who doesn't appear in the photos.
Who is behind, silently.
And yet, thanks to them, you have memories.
Real ones.
The ones you didn't know were happening.
The other day I found one.
I don't even remember when it was taken.
I was sitting, talking to someone, with my hair half-up and not paying attention.
Nothing special.
Until I noticed.
I was wearing earrings.
They weren't the focus.
They weren't positioned for the photo.
But they were there.
And that's what I liked.
There are jewels you choose for an image.
And there are jewels you choose to live in.
The ones you wear without thinking.
The ones that are already a part of you.
The ones that don't need a specific moment.
At Sibela Studio we think a lot about that.
About pieces that don't depend on the pose.
That work when you're not looking.
When you're not worried about how you look.
Because that's where the truth lies.
The photos you don't upload are the ones that tell who you are.
Effortlessly.
Unintentionally.
Without filter.
And perhaps the most beautiful jewels are those that appear there.
Without looking for it.
Without thinking about it.
The ones that aren't made for a photo.
But end up being part of all of them.
And also, deep down, they are a small tribute.
To that person who is never in the picture…
but thanks to whom you have the most beautiful memories.
Because in the end it's not about looking perfect.
It's about having something to remember.
And recognizing yourself in it.
