The end of the year has something of a confessional feel to it.
No matter how much you say it doesn't affect you: December arrives and, without realizing it, you start taking stock.
Of the things that went well.
It hurt so much.
Of what is no longer there.
This year was not what we imagined.
And now, looking back, we realize that it didn't have to be that way either.
He changed things we didn't dare to touch.
She taught us to let go of versions of ourselves that no longer served us, to say no more calmly, to choose better where to put our energy... and time.
There were brilliant moments, yes.
But there were also dark days, the kind that don't get posted on social media and that only survive because we learned to get through them.
And yet, here we are.
More serene.
More aware.
This year we understood that growth isn't always noticeable on the outside.
Sometimes it's noticeable in what no longer hurts the same.
In the conversations you no longer have.
In the jewelry you choose to wear each morning.
Because something curious happened: we started choosing simpler, more comfortable pieces, more our own.
As if, without realizing it, our way of shining had also matured.
That's something we see a lot at Sibela Studio : jewelry doesn't change just because of trends, it changes because the person wearing it also changes.
This year taught us that not everything has to be intense to be important.
That calmness is also a form of success.
Not being able to do everything isn't failing, it's prioritizing.
And when we think about how we were at the beginning of the year, we smile.
Not because we were worse.
But because we were different.
Closing a year is not saying goodbye to everything that was,
It is about being grateful for what transformed us.
So tonight, when it's time to toast,
We will not ask for fireworks.
We will demand clarity.
Calm.
And continue choosing pieces —and people— that make us feel at home.
